Devon Stables is a family run business in the heart of Mid Devon with over 15 years experience in equestrian timber buildings. Originally of farming stock, we have branched off to build equestrian and agriculture buildings, so we know a thing or two about livestock!

As a team we are learning constantly and adapting to the ever changing climate of materials and supply. In recent years we have listened to our customers and expanded our team to bring in people to look after our customers and ensure a smooth process from initial enquiry through to build and aftercare.

We have very experienced carpenters in our workshop producing our buildings with top of the line machinery and equipment, so rest assured we can get the job done, quickly and efficiently.

We provide a free delivery service to the counties of CORNWALL, DEVON, DORSET, SOMERSET AND GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND SOUTH WALES, we also deliver across the country for an additional delivery/installation fee

How long from order to delivery?

Delivery is usually 6 weeks however this can reduce to 4 and go up to 10 weeks depending on the demand, if you give us a call, one of the sales team can give you an exact lead time

How far do you deliver?

Simple answer...Almost anywhere in the UK

What is your warranty?

As our buildings are built to be abused and take a beating we provide 1 year warranty on our craftsmanship. we also pass on any guarantees that our suppliers have for their materials, such as our timber is guaranteed for 15 years.

Will I require planning permission?

This varies from place to place so its best to ask your local planning department.
As a general rule, any building that is on skids (timber or steel) do not require planning permission when situated in a field
However if you are in a AONB it is most likely you will have to seek approval first.

What will the building be delivered on?

Depending on the size of the building you ordered and the distance it is to be taken, it will be delivered either on a flatbed transit, pickup truck and trailer or a HGV.
